Students will launch the project by sharing personal interests and talents, listening to career stories from a community partner, asking and answering key questions about jobs, and beginning the first artifacts that will later grow into their All About Me portfolio.

Students will gather and organize evidence about interests, talents, and community jobs by asking questions, listening closely to peers and adults, and recording what they learn in simple empathy tools. They will use those findings to begin planning accurate portfolio content and make early revisions based on peer and adult feedback.

Students will sort and make meaning from their interview notes, read-aloud details, and self-reflections to define how their interests, strengths, and goals connect to possible jobs. They will turn that evidence into a simple design brief for an All About Me portfolio, sketch several possible poster and presentation ideas, gather peer and adult feedback, and revise their plan before moving into prototyping.

Students will build low-fidelity versions of their All About Me portfolio pieces, test them with real viewers, collect feedback, and revise across two clear iteration cycles so their poster, writing, mini career poster, and video plan better match audience needs.

Students will refine their All About Me portfolio pieces, test them with a new audience, revise using peer and adult feedback, and prepare clear presentation materials for the family conference and celebration walk in the next phase.

Students will present their completed All About Me portfolios to families, classmates, and community guests, use feedback and celebration evidence to notice their growth, and record a final reflection about how their interests and talents connect to future work.
