Students will be able to ask and answer who, what, where, when, why, and how questions about a text or conversation about community jobs to gather key details about workers and careers.
Students will be able to recount a small moment from the RIASEC party by sequencing events and adding drawings or spoken details to show what happened.
Students will be able to identify and describe their strengths and talents in a RIASEC reflection using examples from their own experiences and classroom activities.
Students will be able to write and revise an All About Me poster and related writing pieces about likes, important dates, goals for second grade, and their best part of themselves.
Students will be able to use drawings, posters, and simple digital tools to publish and present information about themselves and their future careers.
Students will be able to participate in collaborative conversations and rehearsals to give and use feedback that strengthens their family conference presentation.

All About Me Portfolio with RIASEC Reflection, Narrative Writing, Goals Page, and Video Reflection
Each student creates an individual portfolio that includes the All About Me poster, the take-home home project elements, a small-moment narrative from the RIASEC party, a reflection on strengths and talents, a second-grade goals writing piece, and a short final video reflection. This product shows personal understanding, writing growth, and self-presentation skills grounded in firsthand experiences.
Class Superpowers and Future Jobs Gallery Walk Board with Shared Problem Statement and Future-Career Pitch
In small groups and as a class, students combine their individual research and ideas into a shared board that names what they learned about student superpowers and possible future jobs, then present a collaborative pitch during the family conference. The team product includes a simple shared message, student examples, and a higher-fidelity poster or display that shows how the class connected interests, talents, and job ideas.
