Students use sentence frames, drawings, and oral rehearsal to create a simple design brief: who will see their portfolio, what they want the audience to learn, which strengths they want to show, and what job feels like a good fit right now. The teacher gives just-in-time modeling with mentor examples from student-friendly posters and presentation cards. Students record their brief on a one-page planning sheet with pictures and key words.
