- We will only use your data for purposes that you have permitted.
In particular, we are committed to working with our Users to comply with laws, rules, and regulations governing the use and protection of Student Records should such materials be transmitted through our Website. Relevant laws, rules, and regulations that may be applicable in certain situations are referenced throughout this policy. While these references are not intended to provide an exhaustive list of applicable laws, rules, and regulations, we have taken steps to assure compliance as applicable with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and its implementing regulations, the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and its implementing regulations, related local, state, provincial and international laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Economic Area (“GDPR”), and other statutes governing Student Records or other data that we may receive from Users. We are committed to protecting the security, confidentiality, and integrity of Student Records and other data that we may receive from Users, as well as to protecting against unauthorized access or anticipated threats.
This policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you visit our website at inkwire.co (our "Website") or using any of the services offered via our Website, including any applications (e.g., widgets) that may appear on the website of an elementary or secondary school or a postsecondary institution of higher education’s (the “IHE”) website (collectively, the “Platform”) and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.
When accessing the Website, Inkwire will learn certain information about you, both automatically and through voluntary actions you may take, during your visit. This policy applies to information we collect:
- On this Website (inclusive of the Platform).
- In email, text, chats and other electronic messages between you and this Website.
- Through our mobile and desktop applications.
- Our pages or ads on social media networks, like our Facebook or Instagram pages.

- Other Users specifically, including but not limited to elementary and secondary schools and the IHEs that may use our Website and their affiliated students, staff and vendors, and

Minimum User Age
Our Website is not intended for persons under the age of consent in their respective jurisdiction. For example, a school will provide student information as part of a contract with Inkwire where the school has received parental consent. - Demographic information – including information that you may choose to share about your gender identification, sexual preference, race, ethnicity and nationality. This type of personal information includes what is also considered a protected classification characteristic under pre-existing California or federal laws.
- Internet or other electronic network activity information — including browsing activity on our Website and apps, browser type and browser language. This also encompasses other information that gets collected automatically when you use our Website and apps or interact with us through social media.
- Inferences drawn from any of the above personal information — about your preferences, predispositions and behavior as they relate to our Website and apps.
- About your internet connection, the equipment you use to access our Website, and usage details.

- Google APIs. We receive information from Google when you log in using the Sign in With Google or Sign up With Google options in our web and mobile apps, specifically the name and email address associated with your Google account. We also receive access to the specific Google Drive files that you share on Inkwire.
- Inkwire's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Our emails provide Users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us and our partners by reading the unsubscribe instructions located at the bottom of any e-mail they receive from us at any time.

Your Rights
If you wish to deactivate your account, please send your request via email at info@inkwire.co and we will remove your data from the database. If your account is closed, information may remain in archive records and we may retain certain data relevant to preventing fraud or future abuse or for legitimate business purposes. All retained data will continue to be subject to this Privacy Policy.

We cannot delete your personal information except by also deleting your user account. If you delete your User Contributions from the Platform, copies of your User Contributions may remain viewable in cached and archived pages or might have been copied by other Website Users. Data Security
Inkwire, Inc. takes data security very seriously. We take commercially reasonable technical, physical and administrative security measures to protect the information submitted to us throughout the entire process of using our Website. This includes using standard security protocols and working only with reputable third-party vendors.
