Discover
Students will launch the community park redesign project, study who uses public spaces and why thoughtful design matters, then produce three early design-thinking artifacts that define the challenge, identify end users, and generate inquiry questions grounded in evidence and multiple perspectives.
Days 1 - 3
Do
Students will implement a test of their park redesign, treasure-map route, or transformed logo set with real users or peer users, collect evidence about clarity and effectiveness, and use that evidence to make a justified improvement claim before the final share phase.
Days 23 - 24
Share
Students will present evidence of how their community park redesign grew from user research, mathematical reasoning, and iterative testing, then reflect on how their design thinking, collaboration, and communication developed through the project.
