Students will gather direct audience evidence, test their assumptions against real interactions, and turn interview, observation, and feedback data into a clear empathy artifact with patterns, personas, a journey map, and documented insights that will guide later media design decisions.

Define & Ideate
Students will synthesize audience research into a focused media design brief, generate multiple distinct story concepts, critique and revise those concepts with peers, and select one evidence-based direction that is feasible, audience-aware, and ready for prototyping.
Days 8 - 12
Prototype & Validate
Prototype & Validate
Students will build and test low-fidelity prototypes of their chosen media story, gather direct feedback from peers and intended users, document two rounds of revision, and prepare a refined prototype with evidence-based design decisions for final validation and presentation planning.
