🧩 Insight Clusters to HMW

Students sort Phase 2 interview notes, observation evidence, quotes, and audience patterns into affinity clusters using sticky notes or a digital whiteboard such as FigJam, Miro, or Slides. The teacher models how to move from research themes to a precise How Might We statement and a short design brief that names user, need, audience context, medium possibilities, and constraints. Students complete a first draft of their HMW statement and attach at least three pieces of evidence from their research portfolio.
