Launch
Students will launch the investigation by weighing evidence in a Kentucky state issue scenario, discussing how a governor’s choices affect daily life, and drafting a focused question and governor choice to guide the next phase of research.
Day 1
Question & Method Plan
Students will refine an investigable question about a Kentucky governor, test a research method with sources, organize evidence into policy-decision-service categories, and produce a research plan that prepares them for slideshow creation and evidence-based speaking.
Days 2 - 5
Showcase
Students will present their Kentucky governor multimedia slideshows to classmates and invited staff, answer evidence-based questions about one policy, one decision, and one public service example, and close with a reflection circle connecting their findings to how governors shape daily life.
