Students will pinpoint the core message of their personal memoirs and storyboard potential narrative arcs, setting a strong foundation for impactful storytelling by defining their key insights and emotional resonance.
Students will work in teams to brainstorm and map out creative storytelling ideas for their memoir projects, incorporating multimedia elements suggested by the community partner, and envisioning how these will meet the needs highlighted in their empathy phase.
Students will draft outlines for their memoirs, sketching key moments and narratives, and begin designing digital storytelling elements that will be integrated into their final pieces.
