Launch
Students will enter the project by examining how everyday routines are shaped, testing a short habit-tracking challenge, studying the core habit loop, and previewing the portfolio and presentation choices they will build toward.
Days 1 - 4
Curiosity Launch
Research & Plan
Students will study key habit concepts across print, visual, and quantitative sources, evaluate which evidence is most useful for their investigation, and design a clear, peer-reviewed plan for testing one personal habit with consistent tracking methods and measurable success criteria.
Days 12 - 18
Build Tracking System
Students will build and test a usable habit-tracking system, begin collecting consistent evidence, and check whether their records are complete, readable, and strong enough for later analysis in the Habit Transformation Portfolio.
Days 19 - 24
Analyze Early Results
Students will audit the quality of their habit-tracking evidence, turn early results into charts and graphs, interpret patterns and anomalies, and revise their habit systems based on peer and teacher feedback before moving into final analysis.
Days 25 - 30
Share Evidence Findings
Students will synthesize their full habit investigation, test the strength of their conclusions against peer critique, revise their portfolio evidence and communication choices, and complete a polished presentation product for the public showcase.
Days 31 - 36
Showcase
Students will present their Habit Transformation Portfolio to an authentic audience, use feedback to strengthen how they communicate their evidence, and reflect on what their investigation shows about habits, identity, and future goals.
Days 37 - 40
