Students will enter the project through hands-on Peru Journey Stations, notice how mountains, rivers, and coasts help people, and begin naming questions and ideas they will investigate in later lessons.

Students will investigate how Peru’s mountains, rivers, and coasts help people by rotating through hands-on stations, collecting picture and model evidence, sorting what they observe, and co-creating a simple class question, hypothesis, and evidence-gathering plan for their future dioramas.

Students will organize evidence from their Peru observations, use teacher and peer feedback to improve their dioramas, and rehearse clear oral explanations that connect mountains, rivers, and coasts to how people live, work, and travel.

Students will present their completed Peru Travel Fair dioramas and oral explanations to families and staff, answer simple questions using geography words and evidence from their models, and end with a brief celebration reflection about one improvement they made.
