Collaboration Self Directed Learning

Students rotate through quick stations with toy boats on blue fabric water, clay mountains with small roads, paper farms beside rivers, and towns along a coast map. At each stop, they use photos and simple Peru maps to notice how people might live, work, or travel there, then share one idea with a partner before moving. The class ends in a circle to name one way a mountain, river, or coast helps people and to launch the project question chart for later investigation.
