Students will engage directly with local musicians and community members to identify how music can move their community forward, document firsthand evidence, and define an evidence-based challenge that will guide their original composition and live showcase.

Students will investigate how music production in their community reflects cultural, technological, and emotional influences by gathering firsthand and secondary evidence, analyzing root causes of a documented need, and proposing an evidence-based musical solution grounded in community voice.

Students will design an original, community-informed musical composition and live showcase plan by generating multiple solution concepts, evaluating them against documented community needs, testing ideas with local musicians, and preparing a detailed creation plan grounded in evidence and artistic intention.

Students will implement their original music compositions with authentic audiences, collect and analyze real-time feedback from community members, and refine their work based on documented evidence to strengthen musical impact and community relevance.

Students will present their original compositions and community-centered design process to local musicians and families, demonstrate how community voices shaped their work, and reflect on their artistic growth, impact, and next steps.
