Launch
Students will launch the inquiry by noticing hidden stories in ordinary things, connecting personal experiences to natural objects, and recording first observations, vocabulary, and wonder questions that prepare them for deeper investigation in the next phase.
Day 1
Question & Plan
Students will connect a personal layer of identity to an ordinary object, plant, or place, then refine an investigable question, form a tentative hypothesis, and build a clear evidence plan for observation and short research with support from peers and a community expert.
Days 2 - 4
Showcase
Students will present their Ordinary Wonders Story Museum stations to visitors, explain evidence-based hidden stories connected to personal experience, complete a short oral conference, and close with a gallery walk reflection on meaning, listening, speaking, and teamwork.
