🔎 Wonder Questions and Evidence Plans

Using a short menu of question stems and planning templates, students choose one ordinary object, plant, or place and draft 2-3 investigable questions before selecting the strongest one. In pairs, they give feedback to 2 peers, receive feedback, and revise by checking whether the question can be answered through close observation and at least two sources. Students then create a notebook plan that includes a hypothesis, what details they will observe, how they will sketch or measure, which sources they might use, and what they will do if evidence does not match their first idea.
