🌿 Wonder Hunt Walkabout

Students explore the classroom or schoolyard with a research notebook, pencil, and sketch box template to observe ordinary objects, plants, or places. A museum educator or nature center partner models inquiry prompts that push students to notice texture, color, shape, patterns, wear, and possible clues to history or memory. Students capture at least one sketch, labeled details, and an initial hidden-story idea for one item they may want to investigate later.
