Students will launch the U.S. regions investigation by analyzing mystery region evidence, hearing from a community expert, and recording first claims on a class map about how geography shapes homes, work, and daily life.

Students will refine investigable questions about how U.S. regions shape daily life, analyze maps and climate evidence, build a hypothesis and evidence-collection plan, get peer feedback, and complete a checked methodology plan for their regional diorama/poster and class atlas work.

Students will present their regional dioramas or posters and class atlas pages in a museum walk, listen to feedback from classmates and invited guests, and add final evidence-based reflections to a class map about how geography shapes homes, jobs, and daily life across U.S. regions.
