Students will analyze Chinese shadow puppetry techniques through video and demonstration, generate a character idea from a dice prompt, test how silhouette and movement read to an audience, and document an initial puppet concept and user-centered story direction for later research and revision.

Students will gather direct audience feedback on shadow-puppet clarity, synthesize user needs into an empathy artifact and How Might We statement, and make a team plan for a short scene that uses Chinese shadow-puppetry techniques with clear speaking, movement, and story choices.

Students will present a polished shadow puppet scene to a rotating audience, use rubric-based feedback to show content understanding and growth, and close with a brief standing circle reflection on Chinese puppetry techniques and collaboration.
