🗣️ Audience Interview and Empathy Map

Students first view a 2-minute expert clip from Deeper Learning China or a cultural partner and name one technique they notice: light placement, silhouette shape, jointed movement, narration, or sound effects. In teams, they then run a fast user-research cycle: one student shows a paper puppet silhouette or sketch behind a flashlight-and-screen setup, one student interviews a peer audience member using 3 prepared questions about what was clear or confusing, and one student records evidence on a shared empathy map and user-insight page. Students rotate once so each team gives feedback to 2 peers, receives feedback, and revises its notes before drafting one How Might We statement and a mini design brief for a 2-minute show.
