Students will design a systematic investigation plan that clearly matches their research question about local power or energy storage facilities. They will determine an appropriate methodology, identify variables or data sources, plan for high-quality data collection, conduct a peer review of their design, and revise their plan before beginning data collection in the next phase.

Students will systematically collect and document high-quality data related to their investigable questions about local power and energy storage facilities, ensuring accurate measurements, detailed observation logs, and clear documentation of conditions and anomalies to prepare for rigorous analysis.

Analyze
Students will transform their collected data about local power and energy storage facilities into meaningful analysis by creating visualizations, identifying patterns and anomalies, debating interpretations with peers, and drafting preliminary findings that connect directly to their original research questions and hypotheses.
