You will conduct interviews and surveys with car enthusiasts, mechanics, and the community partner to gather insights into their expectations and experiences with go-karts, document these findings in your journal, and then present what you learned to your peers for further reflection and discussion.
Days 1 - 3
Define
You will synthesize your research and observations into a clear, concise, and actionable problem statement related to transforming the salvaged motor into a functional go-kart engine.
Days 4 - 6
Ideate
You will brainstorm and sketch multiple go-kart engine solutions using insights from mechanical research, peer collaboration, and community partner feedback to explore diverse possibilities for salvaging and repurposing your motor.
Days 7 - 10
Prototype
You will build and test a prototype of your go-kart engine, gather feedback from your peers and community partner during a gallery walk, and document reflections on the challenges and learnings encountered to further refine your project.

Test/Present
