Students will examine sealed crystal samples and time-lapse images, generate investigable questions, and begin individual science journals for a classroom crystal-growth investigation.

Students will refine a testable crystal-growth question, develop and critique a safe investigation method, prepare labeled comparison jars, and begin a systematic growth log for the classroom crystal gallery.

Students will present and defend their crystal-growth findings in a classroom gallery, improve their explanations through peer feedback, and complete a final journal assessment comparing predictions with evidence.
