Learning Goals
Students will be able to define measurable criteria and constraints for a claymation boxing match that communicates clear action, tension, and emotion.
Students will be able to explain how heat transfer from hands and the surrounding environment affects clay temperature, softness, and character stability.
Students will be able to apply stop-motion filming, character construction, storyboarding, and shot-planning techniques to communicate movement, pacing, tension, and emotion.
Students will be able to analyze frame-rate tests, playback smoothness, clay stability, and stakeholder feedback to justify revisions to their animation process.

Claymation Engineering Analysis
Each student will independently create either a one-page analysis or Canva presentation explaining the animation criteria, stop-motion techniques, heat-transfer observations, test data, design decisions, and evidence-based revisions.
Tested and Revised Claymation Boxing Match Video
The team will storyboard, build, film, test, revise, and premiere a claymation boxing match that uses stable characters and intentional pacing, movement, camera work, and expression. Cesar will support camera work, while Mr. Mark will help obtain supplies; the team will present evidence of at least one revision based on frame smoothness, clay stability, and feedback.
