Winter Traditions Picture Investigation Record
Each student will use drawings, symbols, dictated words, or simple labels to record evidence from two sources, compare two traditions, and explain a personal family tradition or special winter day. A teacher-supported picture chart will help students separate what they observed from what they think.
Winter Holiday Tradition Investigation Poster and Gallery Talk
Groups of four will combine individual evidence into a poster about one winter holiday tradition, including accurate details, a comparison, source icons, and a new question; each student will contribute and speak during the gallery talk. Groups will address differing observations, exchange a star and a wish, revise after feedback, and display the poster in the school’s Winter Traditions Gallery.
