Students will investigate board game mechanics through a guided mystery lab, choose one mechanic to study, turn curiosity into an investigable question and hypothesis, and build a peer-reviewed evidence-collection plan for BoardGameGeek notes, clips, and a mechanic poster draft.

Students will present their finished board game mechanic posters in a gallery walk, speak about the evidence behind their chosen mechanic, listen to classmates, identify one mechanic they want to study more, and make one final revision before the gallery is displayed in the next unit.
