Using short excerpts and discussion stems, students reread selected Seedfolks passages and discuss how character identity and experience shape responses to a community problem. They cite lines from the text, compare at least two viewpoints, and connect one character perspective to what they noticed at the site. Students finish by recording one evidence-based note and one social-emotional note on their project map.
