Students study photo sets and short clips of littered, overheated, eroded, and restored shared spaces, then sort image evidence into categories such as litter, heat, runoff, bare soil, and water waste. The class reads the opening of Seedfolks and discusses how one character’s identity and point of view shape what they notice and decide to do. Students add ideas to a class collage of possible improvements and unpack the driving question.
