Students build a simple research plan on a folded planning map with boxes for classroom experiences, family examples, read-aloud details, and drawings they will collect next. They choose how they will record each source using sketches, labels, tally marks, or oral rehearsal icons. Partners check whether each plan includes more than one source and whether the evidence matches the student’s question.
