Students will be able to synthesize user research into a clear problem statement for a welcome playbook and video that helps new scholars feel excited, informed, and ready to lead at Rise.
Students will be able to prototype a student-friendly welcome playbook page, script, or video scene that communicates one Rise value, rule, or expectation clearly to incoming scholars.
Students will be able to test and refine a welcome playbook or video based on peer and adult feedback so that it better supports belonging, clarity, and school pride.

Student-Friendly Rise Welcome Research Portfolio and Prototype Page
Each student will create a research portfolio with interview notes, a simple persona, and one prototype page or script scene that teaches one part of Rise clearly to incoming scholars. This proves individual understanding of school culture and user needs before team design begins.
Rise Welcome Playbook and Companion Presentation for Incoming Scholars
Teams will combine individual research and prototype ideas into a shared welcome playbook plus a short performance, slideshow, or video for the gallery walk. The final product must show a clear problem statement, evidence-based design choices, and revisions made from feedback.
