Students will enter the project through a dramatic intake session, analyze a Gatsby character case file with a psychologist’s lens, use AI to draft and refine evidence-based interview questions, and share an initial theory plus one uncertainty about what motivates their character.

Students will refine one investigable character-motivation question, test it against textual evidence, use AI to sharpen a case-file method, and complete a peer-reviewed plan for gathering proof and feedback before drafting their Gatsby character profile.

Students will present and defend an AI-assisted Gatsby character case file poster to peers and a local psychologist or counselor, use live critique to test the strength of their textual evidence, and name one specific revision or limitation in their interpretation of human motivation.
