🗂️ Roaring Twenties Intake File

In small groups, students open a sealed case file for one Gatsby character containing selected quotes, key actions, relationship clues, and a short AI prompt guide. After a brief jazz-and-case-note launch, they annotate the evidence, identify patterns in motivation and behavior, and generate 2-3 open-ended interview questions they could test against the novel. Groups then exchange questions with another group, give feedback to 2 peers using sentence stems about specificity and textual testability, revise at least one question, and post one evidence-based theory plus one uncertainty on the class board around the question, "What motivates humans?" A local psychologist or counselor responds to selected student questions and comments on how professionals distinguish observation from inference.
