Products
Heartbeat Investigation Journal
Each student creates a research notebook that includes the question, before-and-after pulse and breathing records, labeled drawings, and a short evidence-based explanation. It shows how the student used observations to answer the essential question independently.
Heartbeat Expo Investigation Poster and Presentation
Small groups create a formal investigation poster and short presentation that synthesize class and group evidence about how exercise affects the heart, lungs, and muscles. The team must include shared data displays, methods, conclusions, limitations, and one new question.
