Students revisit their Animal Habitat Research Notebook with books, printed San Diego Zoo or Safari Park pages, and approved videos to confirm facts about body parts, behaviors, and habitat needs. The teacher models how to match one note to one source and how to mark whether a detail was observed, read, or inferred. Students add at least one labeled drawing and source icon beside each fact they plan to show in the diorama.
