Students will analyze how Dada artists used absurdity, collage, chance, and juxtaposition to critique social unrest, then build and test a rapid mixed-media concept that frames a current contradiction as a nonverbal visual statement for later research and development.

Students will gather direct peer evidence about a modern social contradiction, organize that evidence into an empathy-based design brief, and generate multiple Dada-inspired concept directions they can later prototype and refine.

Students will stage a rapid Contradiction Gallery Night, present one finished Dada-inspired artwork with a 30-second artist talk, gather authentic audience feedback on how clearly the nonverbal social criticism reads, and use that evidence to make one final documented revision or curatorial adjustment before assessment.
