Portrait Investigation Notebook
Students compile a guided research notebook with image analysis, clue charts, notes on Rafael Sanzio, and a short written interpretation of one portrait. The notebook shows how the student developed and supported an evidence-based claim about identity, status, and belief.
Portrait Gallery Investigation Presentation
Teams present a formal analysis of selected portrait works, explaining their shared findings, methods, and conclusions with visual evidence. The presentation must address conflicting or unclear details and include a clear rationale for how the group interpreted status, beliefs, and social hierarchy.
