Students will launch the snack-splitting investigation by modeling a fair-share problem in teams of 4, recording first ideas and revisions on a snack division poster, using visual models and equations to test fraction decisions, and pausing for thumb-rating check-ins that set expectations for later investigation rounds.

Students will investigate a snack-splitting mystery, develop a fair-share question and hypothesis, draft a fraction strategy with models and equations, build an evidence checklist for revision rounds, exchange peer feedback, and revise their planning on the snack division poster before solving.

Students will present and defend a fair-share snack solution using visual models, equations, and revision evidence, then complete a real-time team challenge and class showcase for the Fraction Fixers Fair.
