🧠 Snack Shop Method Plan
Teams analyze a short snack-shop fraction puzzle and choose one focused investigation question such as comparing which order uses the most of a whole or determining the best way to split a portion fairly. Using fraction strips, number lines, grid paper, and a planning template, they draft a method plan that includes at least one addition or subtraction case, one multiplication case, one division case, simplified equations, and notes on how they will record evidence in the Snack Shop Fraction Investigation Notebook. Midway through, each student gives feedback to 2 peers, receives feedback on the team plan, and revises the question, visual model choices, and step sequence before submitting the final method plan. At the end, each student places a sticky note on the class confidence chart and writes one sentence about what helped them.
