🧭 Root Cause Analysis

Students use interview notes, source findings, and a fishbone diagram or 5 Whys protocol to trace how hotter temperatures and changing rainfall influence photosynthesis rates, respiration rates, water stress, and carbon movement in crops. They build a cause-and-effect claim that distinguishes symptoms like reduced yield from underlying biological and environmental causes. Students then give feedback to 2 peers, receive feedback, and revise their analysis for clarity and evidence strength.
