Define
Students will synthesize their interview notes and observation data about challenges with estimating mass and liquid volume into a clear, evidence-based problem statement that names a specific user need and frames a focused "How Might We" question to guide solution design.
Ideate
Students will generate multiple creative solutions for a user-centered Measurement Challenge Day station that helps real users better estimate and measure mass or liquid volume using grams, kilograms, and liters.
Prototype
Students will build and revise a low-fidelity prototype of their Measurement Challenge station, test key tasks involving mass or liquid volume with peer users, and document how feedback leads to measurable design improvements.
Test/Present
Students will test their refined Measurement Challenge Day stations with a new user, document feedback, and present a clear design story that connects user research, estimation skills, and iteration to real-world measurement needs.
