🎉 Measurement Mania User Interviews

Students rotate through quick hands-on mass and liquid volume stations (balance scale with classroom objects; liter-marked containers with water) and then interview two real users (classmates or a visiting adult) about their experiences estimating weight or capacity in everyday life (e.g., cooking, shopping, sports). Using a provided question card set, students record at least two direct quotes per user in their Measurement Designer Journal. Close by surfacing assumptions students had about what is “easy” or “hard” about measuring.
