Individual Neighborhood Demographic Analysis Portfolio
Students compile a digital portfolio with their own census analysis, interview notes, source annotations, maps, and reflections. It demonstrates individual mastery of the evidence and reasoning behind neighborhood demographic change.
Neighborhood Heritage Fair Multimedia Exhibit
Teams create and present a multimedia exhibit for the Neighborhood Heritage Fair that tells the story of neighborhood change through maps, charts, oral history clips, and narration. The exhibit must clearly explain the causes of demographic shifts and invite discussion with community members and younger students.
