Community Partners
In pairs, visit a staff member or community helper who uses school spaces every day. Ask 2–3 simple questions about what spaces help them and how they feel in the school. Listen carefully, capture a quick sketch or picture, and add a short note about what you learned. Include a brief movement break between chats and share one idea you heard with your partner.

Preparation (3 items)
- Identify and arrange visits with specific school helpers for interviews.
- Prepare materials for students like clipboards, paper, drawing tools, and journals.
- Set up the School Heritage Walk path and ensure safety plans are in place.
Student-facing instructions
You will explore our school and meet helpers who work in different spaces. First, walk around the school and look at the places people work. Then, think of questions to ask a helper with your buddy. Listen to what the helper says, draw or write what you learn, and share it with your partner. You'll also get to play and have a short stretching break to move your body. Finally, write in your journal about what you saw and heard today.
