Community Partners
Students work in pairs to conduct brief interviews with a local event planner and with classmates who have attended events. Using a guided interview protocol, they explore what makes a party memorable, eco-friendly choices, and practical budgeting considerations. They collect empathy artifacts such as notes, short quotes, and quick sketches, and record at least two user needs. After interviewing, pairs share a brief debrief to surface surprising insights that will guide next steps.
