Industry Treasure Hunt

Visit Newlabs in the Brooklyn Navy Yard for an immersive industry exploration. In small groups, students meet members of the Legacy Cohort and community partners, conduct mini-interviews to understand needs and certifications, observe workspaces and processes, and capture empathy artifacts such as interview notes and field observations. They will document initial user needs and skills gaps, and briefly reflect on how these insights will shape the design of the training curriculum in upcoming days.
