Students will engage with community partners to gather insights and feedback on existing educational challenges to understand their needs, informing the development of meaningful project-based learning strategies.

Students will collaboratively analyze feedback and insights from the Empathize phase to precisely define their instructional problem, aligning their understanding with NYS teaching standards and identifying opportunities for impactful PBL implementation within their community.

Students will brainstorm diverse project-based learning strategies and collaboratively design innovative solutions catering to their classrooms, leveraging feedback from peers and community partners to refine ideas over the two-day ideation period.

Students will create and share initial low-fidelity versions of their project-based learning plans, collaborating with colleagues to refine their designs with feedback from instructional coaches and community partners before progressing to testing.

Students will gather feedback on their prototype lesson plans from teachers, instructional coaches, and community partners, use surveys and reflections to iterate and refine their designs, and present improved versions in a collaborative feedback session.
