During this 8-week advisory project, students will actively utilize the Futre app to explore and plan their career pathways by analyzing their individual interests, skills, and lifestyle choices. Through a series of dynamic activities, such as job shadowing, internships, community service, and professional interviews, students will construct a comprehensive understanding of various careers, equipping them to make informed decisions regarding their future. The project culminates in a presentation, allowing students to exhibit their insights to the microschool community, fostering a deeper connection between personal goals and career satisfaction.

Students will explore their personal interests and skills to discover suitable career paths, analyzing how these align with lifestyle goals. Through job shadowing and internships, students will develop resource management and action planning skills in real-world contexts. They will create digital portfolios that reflect on their experiences and articulate their future educational and professional plans. Additionally, students will apply concepts of statistics and probability to assess career options, linking salary, growth outlooks, and skill requirements to potential success and satisfaction in chosen fields.

Throughout the project, students will compile a digital portfolio showcasing job shadows, internships, and informational interviews. As a culminating product, they will create a podcast interview featuring a chosen professional, capturing insights and reflections on career paths. At the end of the project, each student will prepare and present an exhibition to the microschool community, highlighting their learning journey and career exploration outcomes. This hands-on approach ensures students produce tangible artifacts that align with their career planning and deeper learning goals.
