Personal Emotions Toolkit Display and Guided Drama Demonstration
Each student creates and revises a display showing an emotion through words, pictures, face/body/action clues, a personal or character connection, a matching calm-down tool, and a personal-growth sentence. At the showcase, the student uses movement and gestures to portray the emotion and explains how the tool can support a helpful choice.
Class Calm-Down Wall and Healthy-Response Role-Play
Teams use individual insights and peer feedback to co-design emotion and coping-tool cards for a class wall, then present a role-play in which they communicate and identify an emotion, compare possible choices, choose a healthy response, and explain how it addresses the character’s needs. The completed wall and role-plays are shared with families, classmates, the counselor, and the psychologist at the Kind Hearts and Feelings Showcase.
