Artist Investigation Portfolio and Gallery Artwork
Each student assembles picture-based observation records and six media experiments, revises one work after feedback, and selects a final piece that tells a personal story. A teacher-scribed label and brief oral explanation identify its purpose, inspiration, visual choices, cultural or artistic connection, and reason for display.
Artists Around the World Hallway Gallery and Gallery Walk
Teams synthesize their individual investigations to arrange an inclusive hallway gallery, create shared artist-and-technique displays, and explain how the works use art elements to communicate purposes, stories, and cultural connections. Students share decisions, present their contributions to families or community artists, and complete a teacher-led reflection on feedback, learning, and cultural respect.
