Revised Narrative with Annotated Dialogue and Author Read-Aloud
Each student will write and revise a narrative featuring correctly formatted, believable dialogue, annotate key language and revision choices, and deliver a brief read-aloud demonstrating tone, pacing, and emotion. A concise reflection will explain how peer, teacher, self, and actor feedback informed revisions.
Collaborative Short Play Script and Festival Performance
Teams will co-write, test, and revise a short play that uses accurate script conventions and natural, emotionally purposeful dialogue, then perform it with intentional pacing, elocution, expression, and ensemble listening. Each team will use workshop and rehearsal feedback to refine the script and performance for classmates and potentially Greater Baltimore Theater Project actors.
