Students will investigate how expressions, equations, and inequalities provide evidence for real-life decisions and generate a focused question for their choice-based project.

Students will investigate a real-life decision, document mathematical evidence, and create a near-final choice-based product through two critique-and-revision cycles.

Students will refine, present, and submit their choice-based mathematical decision products to a visiting fifth- or seventh-grade math class, then complete a final reflection on their learning.
